What is Striking?
Striking is a description to group many forms of martial arts that deal with punches and kicks. There are many forms of striking techniques that are used in MMA here are a few:
Karate uses all parts of the human body as a weapon such as the hand, fist, elbow, leg and knee.
Boxing is a combat sport in which two people, usually wearing protective gloves, throw punches at each other for a predetermined set of time in a boxing ring.
Kick boxing/Muay Thai
Thai boxing (or Muay Thai) is a combat sport that has been developed in Thailand. It is known also as "the art of eight limbs", because both hands, elbows, knees, and legs can be used to attack an opponent
Taekwondo is a Korean martial art, characterized by its emphasis on head-height kicks, jumping and spinning kicks, and fast kicking techniques.
