FAQs

our Frequently Asked Questions

#1. “What is your schedule like/what type of programs do you have?”

Our schedule can be found online at https://6ixmma.punchpass.com/calendar and we have 3 types of classes - Muay Thai, Grappling and MMA.

Muay Thai: our Muay Thai program teaches the fundamentals of Muay Thai

GRAPPLING: our grappling program is no-gi/MMA focused using Sambo, no-gi Jiu-jitsu and wrestling.

MMA: our MMA program, (you guessed it), focuses on mixed martial arts. We use the combinations and drills taught in Muay Thai classes and merge them with the sweeps, submissions and takedowns from our grappling classes. These classes are 6IX MMA's specialty.

#2. “How do I sign up for classes?”

Prior to signing up for any of our classes, please sign our online waiver at https://app.cleverwaiver.com/render/templateByRefId/639e45eb97f114e630bb2603

Once you have signed our waiver, selecting any class on our schedule https://6ixmma.punchpass.com/calendar will take you to the online registration and payment page. All classes must be prepaid and registered in advance, no walk-ins are allowed. To try your first class with us, use the discount code FIRSTCLASS to have the class fee waived.

#3. How much is tuition, and what are the options for signing up?"

We have single class passes which are $25, and we also offer Five and Ten class-passes for $125 and $225 respectively (+ taxes).

Monthly memberships are also available - single discipline (MUAY THAI classes only or GRAPPLING classes only) for $129, or our MMA membership (access to ALL classes) for $209 (+taxes).  A credit card is required for the monthly memberships and they automatically renew each month, and can easily be cancelled via email anytime with 5 business days notice. You will still need to register for all classes ahead of time - there are no walk-ins/drop-ins allowed, but with a membership you can book as many classes as you like.

All passes and memberships can be purchased at https://6ixmma.punchpass.com/passes

#4. "I'm a complete beginner - am I going to get killed in class?"

50/50 chance 😜 Seriously though, you're good. We have beginner students come in almost everyday and we take great pride in our ability to not only convey our techniques and tactics in an easy-to-understand way, but also in our chill and warm environment.

#5. "What type of gear will I need to take classes?"

You will need boxing gloves (12oz, 14oz and 16oz are all acceptable), Shin guards, (hard or soft), mma gloves (min 6oz.), hand wraps, a mouthguard and a cup, (jock) for men. A bottle of water is recommended.

#6. "What if I have an injury that affects my ability to train?"

Our Trainers will work with you one on one, and make sure your injury isn't exasperated. We can adjust the techniques in each class to avoid any negative effects on the injury - we do this everyday so it's no problem!

#7. "What are the White Level classes on the schedule?"

White Level classes are for intermediate/advanced students. All participants must have passed the White Level exam in order to sign up, and the exam is run approximately every three months.

#8. “I want to fight - what's next?”

If you are interested in competing, please register for a class and speak with Kru Danny afterwards.
